The clinic that
put us on the map.
Completed in 2013, See & Be Seen in Liberty Village was one of Mesa Design Studio’s very first optometry projects—and a defining moment for the studio. The clinic drew attention from patients and clients, as well as other clinics and doctors, helping establish Mesa’s presence in optometry design.
The interior brings together exposed brick, warm wood, polished concrete and an open ceiling. A curved reception desk welcomes visitors, while illuminated eyewear displays and oversized eye-chart graphics give the space a distinctive identity. A chandelier made from eyeglass frames adds a playful detail above the showroom.
From the optical boutique and waiting area to the examination rooms, the project balances a memorable retail experience with the practical needs of a working clinic. For Mesa, it remains an important early project—the clinic that put us on the map.
